Stavros Mavromatis graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He obtained his LLM in European Employment Law at Leicester University. He was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2003. He was elected Vice-President of the Famagusta Bar Association in 2011. In 2014 Stavros was elected President of the Famagusta Bar Assocation and was re-elected in 2017. He has been a Member of the Council of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2014 and a Member of the Lawyers' Pension Fund since 2017. He has been appointed by the Ministry of Councils as Present of the License Review Authority in 2016 and was re appointed in the same position in 2018.
Stavros is a lawyer with very substantial experience in all types of litigation. He is highly regarded for his handling of difficult and complex court cases.
